Universal Orlando Resort has announced the return of its holiday celebration, scheduled to run from November 21, 2025, through January 4, 2026. The festivities will take place across Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and the new Universal Epic Universe.

This year’s lineup includes Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at three locations: Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure, Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida, and for the first time, Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe. Guests can expect themed decorations and performances such as The Frog Choir in Hogsmeade and Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees in Diagon Alley. The nighttime show “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” will also return.

Grinchmas activities will be held in Seuss Landing with a live stage show based on “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” Visitors can meet The Grinch during appearances at Honk Honkers and explore a new Who-ville Tree Lot featuring trees inspired by Dr. Seuss characters.

Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s is set to bring large balloons and floats to Universal Studios Florida. Characters from franchises like Despicable Me, Shrek, and Madagascar are expected to participate. Santa Claus will lead the lighting of an 80-foot Christmas tree.

At Epic Universe’s Celestial Park, seasonal lighting and decorations will be installed alongside regular attractions.

Guests have options for add-on experiences such as The Universal Holiday Tour—a guided tour offering reserved seating for shows and parades, cookie decorating sessions, priority attraction access, and exclusive character meet-and-greets. Tickets start at $79.99 per person plus tax; Annual and Seasonal Passholders receive a $10 discount per ticket with some blockout dates applied.

Another paid experience is The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast held at Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous in Islands of Adventure. This breakfast features themed menu items including Green Eggs & Ham Quiche and allows guests to interact with characters from Seuss Landing. Pricing is $58.99 plus tax for adults and $32.99 plus tax for children ages 3-9.

Holiday events extend beyond the parks into CityWalk where Red Coconut Club transforms into Green and Red Coconut Club with live entertainment under this year’s theme “Mistletoe Pines Ski Lodge.” Restaurants across CityWalk will offer seasonal food items including specialty milkshakes.

All eleven Universal Orlando Resort hotels will feature holiday décor along with special menus for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s celebrations—including tree lightings and Hanukkah menorah ceremonies—and carolers throughout the season.

New Year’s Eve events are planned across all theme parks, CityWalk, and resort hotels with more details forthcoming.

Access to most in-park holiday experiences is included with standard admission tickets. Florida residents can save up to 40% on flexible hotel rates during their visit while receiving benefits like early park entry if they purchase a theme park ticket.
