Six AdventHealth hospitals in Flagler, Lake, and Volusia counties have been included in Forbes’ inaugural list of America’s Top Hospitals. The list recognizes hospitals nationwide for strong patient outcomes, high safety standards, and positive patient experiences.

Forbes evaluated approximately 5,400 general acute care hospitals across the United States to develop the ranking. About 2,500 hospitals met the inclusion criteria based on publicly available data related to quality and safety measures. Only those earning four or five stars were selected for the final list.

The AdventHealth East Florida Division hospitals recognized are AdventHealth Daytona Beach, AdventHealth DeLand, AdventHealth Fish Memorial, AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach, AdventHealth Palm Coast, and AdventHealth Waterman.

Rob Deininger, executive vice president and CEO for AdventHealth’s East Florida Division, said: “The families in our communities deserve to know who they can turn to and trust when it matters most. This recognition reflects what happens when skilled care is paired with genuine human connection. It’s care delivered close to home by teams who live in the communities they serve and earn that trust in each and every interaction.”

AdventHealth’s East Florida Division emphasizes caring for patients’ physical, mental, and spiritual needs while working to expand access to advanced services and support health throughout the region.

AdventHealth Orlando is located in Orlando, Florida. Founded in 1908, it serves as a training hospital with a pediatric ward. Its current president is Terry Shaw.
