The Sing Out Loud Festival’s Live Wildly Showcase attracted over 25,000 attendees to Francis Field in St. Augustine, Florida, on September 20 and 21. The two-day event featured performances from 14 acts, including headliners Hozier, Beabadoobee, Vance Joy, and The Teskey Brothers. The festival combined live music with a focus on conservation efforts for Florida’s natural landscapes.
Visitors traveled from all 50 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, and twelve other countries to attend the event. Organizers noted that sales of two-day passes outpaced single-day tickets by a factor of three. The lineup included international artists such as Hozier—who performed popular songs like “Take Me to Church” and “Too Sweet”—and Beabadoobee from the UK. Other notable performers were Vance Joy, who gave an additional late-night set at Spinster Abbott’s venue; Sombr; Gigi Perez; Father John Misty; Rilo Kiley; Maren Morris; Sarah Kinsley; David Kushner; Brenn! Local acts Taylor Olin & The Something Specials and Sun Child also participated.
In addition to music performances, attendees engaged in activities highlighting Florida’s wildlife and conservation initiatives. These included interactive exhibits about state parks and wildlife trivia, opportunities to meet local conservation groups, and installations such as a large inflatable Florida panther.
The festival raised more than $130,000 through ticket sales for land conservation projects in St. Johns County.
