Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show in Panama City Beach, Florida, will launch a new holiday-themed performance beginning November 6, 2025. The Christmas show features Captain Blackbeard and his crew as they search for lost Christmas gifts, offering audiences an interactive experience that includes both entertainment and dining.
The production is scheduled to run through January 3, 2026. According to the organizers, the event aims to provide a unique holiday tradition for visitors and locals on the Emerald Coast. Dolly Parton commented on the upcoming show: “I’ve always said I love mixing my pirates’ ‘Yo Ho’ with a little holiday ‘Ho Ho Ho!’ Bringing Pirates Voyage to Panama City Beach was another dream come true, and now we’re decking the decks for my favorite time of year. This new holiday show is full of laughs, adventure and just the right touch of Christmas magic. So come enjoy great food and fun and start a brand-new tradition with us—it’s a Holly Dolly, Jolly Roger Christmas like no other!”
The storyline follows a mysterious traveler in red who arrives in Buccaneer Bay only to discover his bag of gifts has gone missing on Christmas Eve. Captain Blackbeard and first mate Calico Jack join forces with audience members to find the missing presents before midnight so that Christmas can be saved. The performance also includes acrobatics by pirate crews and appearances from characters such as a comical castaway and her sea lion companion.
Guests are invited to participate in pre-show activities at Pirates Village where children can dress up as mermaids or pirates. The four-course meal served during the show features soup, biscuit, roasted chicken, pulled pork, corn, mashed potatoes, dessert options including apple pie or chocolate coconut cake, and unlimited beverages. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meals are available upon request.
Dolly Parton’s dinner shows have been operating since 1988 across several locations including Pigeon Forge (Tennessee), Branson (Missouri), Myrtle Beach (South Carolina), and Panama City Beach (Florida). These venues are known for combining live entertainment with family-style dining experiences.
