Palm Beach County condo sales climb; Presidential Place leads with nearly $8M deal

Palm Beach County saw an increase in both the number and total value of condo sales last week. Between August 18 and August 24, brokers completed 74 condominium transactions, totaling $42.8 million. This represents a rise from the previous week, when 64 units were sold for a combined $31.4 million.

The average sale price for the week was $578,767, which is higher than the prior week’s average of $491,305. However, the average price per square foot dropped to $316 from $328 based on Redfin data.

Among the top ten sales, prices ranged from $1 million to nearly $7.7 million. The highest-priced transaction involved unit 205 at Presidential Place, located at 800 South Ocean Boulevard in Boca Raton. The unit sold for $7.7 million after being listed for 240 days and closed at $1,617 per square foot.

Senada Adzem with Douglas Elliman handled the listing for this property while Todd Lipsich with Luxury Partners Realty represented the buyer.

Another notable sale was unit E1 at 330 Ocean, located at 330 South Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach. This property sold for $3.5 million or $1,762 per square foot after spending 266 days on the market.

Patricia Mahaney with Sotheby’s International Realty managed the listing and Maria Fanjul-Ryan with Tina Fanjul Associates worked as the buyer’s agent.

A breakdown of several other top sales includes:

– Unit 411 at 111 First Delray Condo in Delray Beach sold for just over $1 million.
– Unit 70 at Jupiter Country Club in Jupiter fetched $1.15 million.
