Developer Mikael Hamaoui has partnered with Prestige Imports, a well-known exotic car dealership, to introduce an automotive concierge program at the upcoming Pagani Residences in North Bay Village. The service, named Auto Privata, will be available once the project is completed.

Prestige Imports, led by CEO Brett David and based in North Miami Beach, will oversee the training of valet staff at Pagani Residences. The company will also provide monthly vehicle condition reports and coordinate service scheduling for residents. Memberships and individual services will be offered, allowing residents to maintain their car collections with options such as discreet vehicle delivery to private airports, social events, or restaurants.

Founded in 1977 by Irv David, Prestige Imports is recognized as one of the largest luxury and exotic car dealerships in North America and is among only three licensed Pagani dealers in the United States.

Sales for the 30-story, 70-unit Pagani Residences began in 2024 under Hamaoui’s Riviera Horizons. Units start at $3.7 million with construction expected to finish by 2028.

The trend of combining luxury residences with branded automotive services continues to grow in South Florida. Projects like Gil Dezer’s Porsche Design Tower and Bentley Residences have incorporated features such as private car elevators. Other developments include Michael Stern’s Mercedes-Benz Places and Related Group’s Pininfarina-designed condos.

Brett David commented on some branded projects: “There’s not much to it,” he said.

The addition of Auto Privata comes amid increasing competition among developers offering extensive amenities—such as theaters, golf simulators, private dining rooms, guest suites, and medical concierge services—to attract buyers in South Florida’s crowded condo market.

Hamaoui explained his approach: “You have to pick and choose which amenities are going to be most meaningful,” he said. He added that many amenities can “just collect dust once the project is delivered.”

He noted that buyers are drawn to branded residences for their services. Hamaoui reported hearing from more car collectors seeking reliable maintenance options in Miami.

Interest in collectible cars has risen alongside other luxury goods categories recently.

“Cars have now turned into a blue chip stock,” David said.

Miami has become a major hub for car culture in the U.S., hosting events like F1’s Miami Grand Prix. This growth has prompted real estate developers to create new garages and clubs for collectors’ vehicles across South Florida—including projects like Revault Miami by Newgard Development Group; a planned Pembroke Pines facility by Mark S. Gold; and Hangar Group’s latest development following success in Riviera Beach.
