Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Mayor’s Veterans Advisory Council will recognize military service members at the 26th annual City of Orlando Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 8, 2025. This year marks a change in location for the event, which will take place in the Lake Nona Community for the first time. The parade is organized in partnership with Tavistock and the Lake Nona VA Medical Center.
The theme for this year’s parade is “Service to our Nation,” which aims to highlight the dedication and sacrifice of both past and present military personnel. The event will feature participants from Central Florida veteran organizations, active-duty military, high school JROTCs, as well as UCF Air Force and Army ROTCs.
Those interested in joining the parade or applying to serve as Grand Marshal can find more information at orlando.gov/veteransparade. Registration for participants closes on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
The parade is scheduled to begin at Laureate Park Elementary School at 7800 Laureate Boulevard and will end at Lake Nona Town Center. The start time is set for 11 a.m.
