Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel is preparing to open in Fall 2025 and has begun accepting reservations. The new property will be connected to the Broward County Convention Center, which has recently undergone expansion and renovation, and is located next to Port Everglades Cruise Terminal. At 29 stories, it will become the largest hotel in Fort Lauderdale by number of guestrooms, offering 801 rooms, including 82 suites with views of the Intracoastal Waterway and the beach.

The hotel will include six dining venues at launch, an urban outdoor pool deck, Mokara Spa, and guest rooms equipped with modern amenities. There will also be more than 73,000 square feet of meeting and ballroom space on-site. This includes a 30,000-square-foot Waterway Ballroom and a 15,000-square-foot Port Everglades Ballroom that feature natural light and finishes inspired by South Florida. When combined with the adjacent convention center’s facilities, guests have access to over 120,000 square feet of flexible event space for conferences or large gatherings.
