Marc Ashley, president of Market America Worldwide and Shop.com, has purchased a condominium at the Bath Club Residences in Miami Beach for $14.3 million. Property records indicate that the sellers were Scott and Laura Gilbert, who acquired the 6,300-square-foot unit in 2011 for $5.7 million.

The recently sold unit is located at 5959 Collins Avenue and was last listed with an asking price of nearly $16 million. Jordan Karp represented Marc and Maria Ashley in the transaction and is also handling the listing of their previous condo in Edgewater.

Last month, the Ashleys put their full-floor condo at Elysee Miami on the market for $5.5 million, according to reporting by the New York Post. The Edgewater residence features four bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms across 3,300 square feet, with an asking price equating to $1,700 per square foot. The couple purchased it in 2021 for $2.7 million while construction was ongoing under Two Roads Development.

The Bath Club Residences include 107 condos and six oceanfront villas following redevelopment by The Peebles Corporation between 2005 and 2006. The original beach club building dates back to 1926 and has been restored.

Elysee Miami’s interiors were designed by Jean-Louis Deniot, known for projects such as the Waldorf Astoria Residences in New York. Features of the Ashleys’ Edgewater condo include a private elevator, 10-foot ceilings, and two terraces with views of Biscayne Bay and Miami Beach.

Market America was established in 1992 as an e-commerce and product brokerage company. Its founder James Ridinger passed away at age 63 in 2022; he had previously purchased a penthouse at One Thousand Museum condo tower in Miami with his wife Loren Ridinger.
