Marcus & Millichap hires Max Beyderman; Brown Harris Stevens expands Miami team

Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation has appointed Max Beyderman as senior managing director in its Fort Lauderdale office. According to a company announcement, Beyderman will be responsible for commercial debt and equity financing across various asset classes. He previously worked independently as a commercial finance specialist for the past year and held the position of managing director at Meridian Capital Group from 2006 to 2024.

In another hiring update, Thomas Burkett has joined Origin Construction in Miami as chief financial officer. Burkett was most recently CFO at Butters Group for five months and before that served nearly four years as senior vice president of finance at Hernandez Construction & Development.

Brown Harris Stevens is expanding its presence in Miami-Dade County with several new agents joining its teams. Anamaria Ferrao, Maayan Alishayev, and Maria Pellegrini are now part of the Miami Beach office, while Mariona Bosca, Natalie Scherr, and Noelia Espinales have joined the South Miami office. The firm’s recruitment efforts have been led by David Deza since he became managing director in May.
