A new holiday event inspired by European Christmas markets is set to take place on Marco Island. The Marco’s First Old World Christmas Bazaar Market will be held at Veteran’s Community Park on Saturday, November 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is organized by Our Daily Bread Food Pantry and the Marco Island Center for the Arts.

The market aims to recreate the atmosphere of traditional European holiday villages, offering handcrafted gifts, seasonal food items, and activities for families. Proceeds from the event will go toward supporting both organizing groups.

Attendees can expect a variety of artisan vendors selling handmade jewelry, home décor, holiday crafts, and other unique items. Local food vendors will provide treats and refreshments. There will also be special activities for children and live holiday music.

“This event is a celebration of community, creativity, and the joy of the holiday season,” said Allyson Richards, President of the Board of Our Daily Bread Food Pantry. “We invite everyone to join us for a magical weekend that supports feeding both the body and the soul.”

Applications are open for artists and vendors interested in participating in the market. Booth spaces are available at $125 for a standard setup or $50 for table-only spaces under tents. Organizers note that space is limited and applications will be accepted until all spots are filled.

For more information about vendor applications or sponsorship opportunities, interested parties can visit www.marcoislandart.org or contact info@marcoislandart.org.

Our Daily Bread Food Pantry provides food assistance through various programs on Marco Island six days per week. The Marco Island Center for the Arts offers art exhibitions, educational programs, theater productions, and other events designed to support local artists and promote cultural engagement in the community.
