Miami-Dade County experienced a decline in condo dollar volume last week, despite an increase in the number of units sold. From August 18 to August 24, brokers closed 76 condo sales totaling $49 million. This was up from the previous week’s 55 sales, but significantly lower than the $94.2 million recorded previously.

The average sale price per unit dropped to $644,907 from $1,713,245 the prior week. The average price per square foot also decreased to $493 from $820, based on data provided by Redfin.

Among the top ten condo sales during this period, prices ranged between $1.3 million and $6.9 million.

The highest-priced sale was for unit 902 at Mansions at Acqualina located at 17749 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach. The property sold for $6.9 million or $1,502 per square foot after spending nine days on the market.
