AdventHealth has announced that Dr. Chona Reguyal, a family medicine physician with decades of experience in Western North Carolina, has joined AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at Parkway. Dr. Reguyal is board-certified in Family Medicine and will provide primary care services including preventive health, chronic condition management, and women’s health to patients in Buncombe County.
Dr. Reguyal completed her medical degree at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She previously worked as a Primary Care Physician at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville and spent over 20 years serving families in Hendersonville.
“I approach patient care by treating every individual like family,” Dr. Reguyal said. “I take time to listen, connect and build trust. Many of my patients have told me they feel comfortable and understood from the very first visit, which is exactly the kind of experience I aim to provide.”
She noted that AdventHealth’s emphasis on patient-centered care was a key factor in her decision to join the organization after two decades serving the Hendersonville community. “I’m excited to continue caring for this community in a supportive environment where both patients and team members are genuinely valued,” she said.
Dr. Reguyal lives locally with her husband, who is a pharmacist also serving the Hendersonville area. In addition to practicing medicine, she enjoys traveling, trying new foods, spending time with family, and visiting her son in New York.
Patients can schedule appointments with Dr. Reguyal at AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at Parkway by visiting AdventHealthNC.com or calling 828-298-0333.
