Linda Landman González has been elected as president of the Orlando Utilities Commission’s Board of Commissioners, with Phillip N. Brown and Bridget Williams, Ed.D., confirmed as new board members, according to a Feb. 24 announcement.

The changes mark a shift in leadership for OUC as it enters the initial phase of its 10-year strategic plan focused on providing affordable, reliable, and sustainable electric and water services to more than 400,000 customers.

Landman González was nominated to a two-year term as board president after joining the commission in January 2024. She is recognized for her experience in community relations and corporate leadership from her previous role as Vice President of Community Relations and Government Affairs for the Orlando Magic. She also serves as President Emerita of the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation and has held various leadership positions with boards and educational organizations across Central Florida.

Phillip N. Brown was selected to succeed Larry Mills, Th.D., whose eight-year term ended in December 2025. Brown was also nominated to serve as First Vice President. He brings executive experience from his time as CEO of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority where he managed both major local airports through significant growth periods and challenges such as the Great Recession and COVID-19 pandemic.

Bridget Williams, Ed.D., was chosen to complete Roger Chapin’s term through December 2028 and nominated to Second Vice President. Williams currently works as Deputy Superintendent for Executive Services at Orange County Public Schools with over twenty years in senior leadership roles focused on student achievement and organizational excellence.

Additional committee appointments include Britta Gross named Chair of OUC’s Audit Finance Committee while continuing her role on the commission; Brown will serve as First Vice Chair; Williams will be Second Vice Chair; Landman González joins ex-officio with voting rights on this committee. Mayor Buddy Dyer remains an ex-officio member of the board.
