Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will host a series of holiday events in December, including the debut of “Kennedy Under the Stars: Holiday Edition.” The after-hours event is scheduled for December 19 and 20, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and requires a separate ticket priced at $65 per person.

The visitor complex will be decorated with festive lights and music for the occasion. Attractions such as Heroes & Legends, Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex, Journey To Mars, Space Shuttle Atlantis, and Planet Play will remain open during the event. The Rocket Garden will feature a dance party and a custom drone show.

Entertainment includes performances by The Vocalitas singing holiday classics, costumed characters on stilts, and an elf riding a Penny Farthing bicycle. Other activities include the Rocket Tree Trail, a scavenger hunt, and photo opportunities with the Mars Rover dressed as Rudolph. Guests are encouraged to wear space-themed holiday clothing but masks or face coverings are not allowed. Parking is included in the admission price. Special holiday merchandise will be available for purchase, with discounts offered to annual passholders on food, drinks, and retail items.

Following this event, “Holidays in Space” continues from December 21–30 (except December 25) with decorations and an expanded drone show featuring 600 drones telling the story of Starflake—a character representing NASA’s history from Apollo through Artemis missions—culminating in a cosmic tree display. Premium viewing tickets for this show will be available on select nights at KennedySpaceCenter.com.

Additional programming during the holidays includes a new live character show at Universe Theater and an interactive family breakfast experience.

A Holiday Dining Package is also being offered for presale only between December 15–19 and December 22–January 2 for $39.99 per person plus admission. This package provides one meal at select cafes within the complex along with snacks and a refillable souvenir cup.

Tickets for Kennedy Under the Stars: Holiday Edition went on sale November 4 at www.KennedySpaceCenter.com.
