IAM Union members at Atlantic Aviation Teterboro have approved a new collective bargaining agreement, bringing changes to wages, benefits, and working conditions. The contract was negotiated by IAM District 142 and includes wage increases for all job classifications, a $1,500 signing bonus, retroactive pay from the contract’s expiration date, and premium increases. Other provisions cover sick time buyback options as well as improvements in vacation accrual, surveillance policies, progressive discipline procedures, and shift arrangements.

Richie Johnsen, IAM Air Transport Territory General Vice President, stated: “This agreement reflects the power of union solidarity and the commitment of our members at Atlantic Aviation TEB. This contract was won by the hard work, unity, and determination of our membership.”

IAM District 142 will coordinate with company leadership to ensure prompt implementation of the new terms.

John M. Coveny, Jr., President and Directing General Chair of IAM District 142 said: “This contract delivers meaningful economic gains and important workplace protections. It’s what our members fought for and what they have more than earned.”

The union has reaffirmed its commitment to protecting member rights through collective bargaining efforts.
