IAM District 160 organized a fundraising event at Topgolf in Renton, Washington, collecting over $30,000 for Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines (GDA | TLC). The gathering included more than 100 members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), along with their families and supporters. Activities at the event featured golf games, bingo, raffle prizes, and a silent auction.

The fundraiser aimed to support GDA | TLC’s work providing trained service dogs at no cost to people who are blind or visually impaired, veterans, and children with autism.

“The IAM’s commitment to Guide Dogs of America goes back decades,” said IAM Western Territory General Vice President Robert “Bobby” Martinez. “Our members have always answered the call to give back, and this fundraiser is another example of the compassion and strength that defines our union family.”

The event was led by IAM District 160 Business Representative Zac Collins. His efforts were credited as key to organizing the successful fundraiser.

IAM has supported GDA | TLC for many years. This recent event contributes to a long history of fundraising by IAM members that totals millions of dollars raised for the charity.
