Nominations are now open for the 5th Annual Bob Provitola Manufacturing Leadership Award, which recognizes volunteer leaders who have made significant contributions to Florida’s manufacturing sector. The award honors the memory of Bob Provitola, who served as Division Vice President of Mitsubishi Power Americas and was the founding board chair of the FloridaMakes Network. Provitola dedicated his career to advancing education, workforce development, and economic growth in Florida with a focus on strengthening the manufacturing economy and creating high-wage, high-skill jobs.

According to FloridaMakes, “Each year, we continue his legacy by recognizing individuals who demonstrate outstanding advocacy, leadership, mentorship, and volunteerism.”

The award is intended for individuals whose volunteer service has positively impacted Florida manufacturing. Eligibility does not require serving as a “loaned executive.” Nominations are submitted through an online form and will be reviewed by a committee consisting of manufacturers and stakeholders. All nominees will be evaluated based on their contributions to the industry.

The deadline for nominations is October 8, 2025. More information about the nomination process can be found at www.FloridaMakes.com/Bob-Provitola-Award.
