Florida Public Service Commission schedules virtual meeting for Citrus Waterworks rate adjustment

The Florida Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced it will hold a virtual customer meeting for Citrus Waterworks, Inc. customers on October 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. EDT. The meeting is intended to gather feedback from customers regarding Citrus Waterworks’ recent application to adjust its water and wastewater rates in Citrus County.

Citrus Waterworks, Inc. filed its rate adjustment request with the FPSC on April 30, 2025. The FPSC will consider comments from customers about the proposed rate changes and the quality of service provided by Citrus Waterworks as part of its review process.

Customers who want to speak at the meeting can register online through the FPSC website by clicking the “Sign-up to Speak” link under Hot Topics, by calling the FPSC at 1-850-413-7080, or by emailing the Commission. Online registration opens on October 16, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. EDT, and closes at noon on October 28, 2025.

The meeting is open to all Citrus Waterworks customers, which includes 154 residential customers and one general service customer in Citrus County. Customers who do not wish to speak can watch the meeting live by selecting “Watch Live and Archived PSC Events” on the FPSC website.

“The virtual customer meeting provides customers an opportunity to comment on Citrus’ request and the company’s quality of service. Customer feedback will be considered by the Commission as part of its decision-making process,” according to the FPSC.
