A home in the St. Andrews Country Club neighborhood of Boca Raton led luxury real estate contracts in Palm Beach County for the week ending October 12, according to a market report by Douglas Elliman’s Eklund-Gomes team. Buyers signed 10 contracts for high-end properties during this period, with a combined asking price of $47.6 million. The properties spent an average of 263 days on the market.
This marked a decrease from the previous week, when 19 contracts were signed totaling $71.5 million in asking volume.
The Eklund-Gomes report tracks signed contracts for single-family homes and condos listed at $3 million or more in the Beaches MLS. Last week, there were 49 new listings, bringing the total number of active listings to 1,065.
Of the properties that went under contract, nine were single-family homes and one was a condo. The pending condo, with an asking price of $6.5 million, was listed at $2,311 per square foot and spent 541 days on the market. The single-family homes accounted for $41.1 million in asking volume, with an average market time of 91 days and an average asking price of $4.6 million.
The highest-priced contract was for a 7,600-square-foot house at 17153 Ericarose Court in Boca Raton, listed at $9.5 million. Property records identify the owner as David Kreiss, president of KM2 Solutions, a company based in Palm Beach Gardens that focuses on outsourcing customer relationship management services. Kreiss purchased the home for $4.7 million in 2020. Built in 1988 on nearly one acre, the property features five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a pool. The home was listed in September by Jeannine Patricia Morris and Blake Benjamin Morris with Lang Realty.
The second most expensive pending contract was for unit A2 at One Royal Palm Way, located at 100 Royal Palm Way in Palm Beach, with an asking price of $6.5 million. The seller is the trust of Elizabeth Bowden, who acquired the unit with her husband Charles W. Bowden Jr. for $600,000 in 1994. According to his obituary, Charles W. Bowden Jr. was a real estate developer in the Philadelphia area. The condo spans 2,810 square feet and has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It was originally listed for $9.3 million in 2023 by Dana and Paulette Koch of the Corcoran Group.
