AMI Beach Weddings, based on Anna Maria Island, has been named to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s CO—100: America’s Top 100 Small Businesses list. The business was selected from a pool of over 12,500 small businesses nationwide. The recognition comes after evaluation by a panel of judges who considered growth, community impact, and commitment to creating destination wedding experiences along Florida’s Gulf Coast.

In addition to being included in the top 100 list, AMI Beach Weddings received the Customer Champion distinction. This honor is given to only ten businesses across the country that are recognized for exceptional customer service.

The CO—100 list includes owners and founders from 35 states and Washington, D.C., representing sectors such as technology, manufacturing, creative agencies, and retail.

“This recognition is a reflection of why we do this work: to celebrate love, lift up local small businesses, and support our community. I’m proud of the celebrations we’ve created for couples and families, and it is humbling to see that commitment recognized on a national stage,” said Karen Riley-Love, founder and owner of AMI Beach Weddings.

Riley-Love will attend events at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce headquarters in Washington, D.C., from October 6–8. Activities include participation in the Small Business Forum.

“We can’t wait to bring a touch of Anna Maria Island’s coastal charm to the nation’s capital,” Riley-Love added.

During an awards dinner at these events, ten businesses will be honored for achievements in different categories with $2,000 each. One company will receive an additional $25,000 as America’s Top Small Business.

“Small businesses are the heartbeat of our economy, and their stories are nothing short of extraordinary,” said Jeanette Mulvey, Vice President and Editor-in-Chief of CO— by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “The CO—100 honorees exemplify what it means to lead with purpose, adapt with agility, and build with vision. These entrepreneurs and teams are not only shaping their local communities—they’re setting new standards for what’s possible in business.”
