AdventHealth Sebring will hold a community event called “Ask the Ortho Experts” on April 2 at Circle Theatre in Sebring, giving residents an opportunity to learn more about orthopedic care options and meet with AdventHealth surgeons and providers, according to a Mar. 31 announcement.
The event aims to help local residents understand their healthcare choices related to joint replacement surgeries and other orthopedic treatments available through AdventHealth’s network in the Heartland region. Attendees can ask questions directly to a panel of specialists during a casual question-and-answer session.
Chief orthopedic surgeon Dr. Havalee Henry, medical director of orthopedics Dr. E. Wayne Mosley, Dr. Matthew Irwin, Brittiany Garrett (APRN), Mason Jahan (APRN), and Olivia Meadows (PA-C) are scheduled to attend the seminar from 11:30 am to 1 pm, with doors opening at 11 am at Circle Theatre on Circle Park Drive.
“We’re grateful for the chance to connect directly with our community and address questions about the orthopedic services available to them close to home,” Dr. Henry said. “Our expert care team is committed to helping patients rebuild strength and mobility, so they can return to doing the things they enjoy with greater comfort and confidence.”
AdventHealth provides treatments for arthritis, joint pain, bursitis, fractures, joint injuries and more across its locations in Sebring, Lake Placid and Wauchula using minimally invasive procedures as well as physical therapy options.
Space for this event is limited; those interested can RSVP online through AdventHealth’s events page. According to information provided by AdventHealth Orlando, its main hospital was founded in Orlando in 1908 and includes both pediatric wards and training facilities.
