AdventHealth Redmond EMT Jared Firestone was recently honored at the annual FrontLine Awards, hosted by the Rome Noon Optimist and Seven Hills Rotary clubs. The event aims to recognize first responders in the Rome area for their service.

Firestone’s nomination described him as someone who brings positivity and dedication to his work: “Every now and then a person comes along and breathes a breath of fresh air into an organization. Jared is that person. It didn’t take long before we realized that we needed Jared more than he needed us. He has a true servant heart. His positive attitude and smile are infectious, and he is a joy to be around. He has worked hard to overcome many obstacles in in his life, including a stint where he lived out of his car, to get to where he is now. He has obtained his Advanced EMT license and now has his eyes on becoming a paramedic. I am certain that he will be successful. I can think of no one that is more deserving of the FrontLine Award than Jared Firestone.”

Marty Robinson, director of EMS at AdventHealth Redmond, commented on Firestone’s commitment: “Jared’s hard work, dedication and compassion for others exemplifies our mission at AdventHealth of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ.”

Upon receiving the award, Firestone said, “As always, all glory to God and thank you, Jesus.”

AdventHealth Redmond acknowledged Firestone’s role within its team and highlighted how such individuals help improve their community.

AdventHealth Orlando, another facility within the same health system as AdventHealth Redmond, is located in Orlando, Florida. Founded in 1908, it serves as both a pediatric care center and training hospital under president Terry Shaw.
