AdventHealth Medical Group Midwifery and OB/GYN at Castle Rock recently held an open house event on September 25, welcoming community members to learn about its services. The clinic offers care for women from adolescence through post-menopause, including pregnancy and prenatal support. Its team includes three midwives with over 15 years of combined experience and OB/GYN Kenneth Kaplan, MD.

The clinic uses a midwifery model as an alternative to physician-only practices. This approach features longer appointments so providers can build relationships with patients, and midwives remain present during delivery for ongoing support.

Nicola Williams, practice manager for AHMG Midwifery and OB/GYN at Castle Rock, said: “Our midwifery office offers something special, the time and attention every woman deserves. Our providers are not only highly skilled, but they take the time to truly connect with each patient and ensure they have a voice in their care.”

Williams noted that the clinic was established to meet a growing need for more personalized women’s health care in Castle Rock. “We’re thrilled to be part of this community,” she shared. “The open house was a wonderful opportunity to meet our neighbors and introduce them to our team. We’re so thankful to everyone who came out, it was even more successful than we imagined!”

Looking ahead, the team plans to continue building lasting relationships with local families. Williams added: “We’re a collaborative, family-oriented practice. When you come here, you’re treated like family.”

AdventHealth Orlando is located in Orlando, Florida and was founded in 1908. It serves as a training hospital and has a pediatric ward.
