AdventHealth Medical Group has opened a new chiropractic clinic in Calhoun, Georgia, expanding its services to provide more options for community members seeking care close to home. The facility, AdventHealth Medical Group Chiropractic Medicine at Calhoun, welcomes Chris Nelson, DC, as its chiropractor.
Dr. Nelson brings expertise in active release technique and Graston therapy, along with experience in both instrument and manual adjustments. Dr. Nelson holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a Master of Sports Medicine from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from the University of Georgia in Athens. He focuses on treating conditions such as back pain, neck pain, posture issues, functional movement problems, headaches, sciatica, joint pain, arthritis and whiplash. “He is dedicated to improving function and helping patients live life to the fullest,” the announcement stated. “He specializes in back pain, neck pain, posture, functional movement, headaches, sciatica, joint pain, arthritis and whiplash. Dr. Nelson works collaboratively with you and a multidisciplinary team to accomplish desired treatment goals with care and compassion.”
