AdventHealth will mark Veterans Day on November 11 by providing free meals to veterans at various locations in Northwest Georgia. The initiative aims to thank those who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
The complimentary meals for veterans will be available at Bojangles in Chatsworth from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, and at several Chick-fil-A locations—Calhoun, Rome (Truett’s Chick-fil-A), Cedartown, and Rockmart—as well as McDonald’s in Summerville, all from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
In addition to these community gatherings, AdventHealth Georgia will hold special events at each hospital campus to honor veteran team members. According to the organization, “AdventHealth remains committed to caring for the whole person — body, mind and spirit — and to honoring those who have served our country.”
AdventHealth Orlando, established in 1908 and located in Orlando, Florida, serves as a training hospital with a pediatric ward. Its current president is Terry Shaw.
