AdventHealth Medical Group has introduced the IRIS Award, a new quarterly recognition for team members who embody the organization’s service standards and commitment to whole-person care. Julia Robinson, a certified medical assistant at AdventHealth Medical Group Internal Medicine at Shorter Avenue, is the first recipient of this award.
The IRIS Award stands for Inspiring, Respectful, Individualized, and Supportive—qualities that the organization seeks to highlight in its staff. Robinson has worked in health care for more than 35 years and is known among her colleagues and patients for her dedication and compassion. She is recognized for her deep understanding of health care systems and consistent patient advocacy.
Robinson’s nomination stated: “Julia Robinson represents the very heart of AdventHealth’s mission. Her lifetime of service, compassion and dedication is unparalleled. She is not only an outstanding team member, but a true blessing to our clinic and community.”
As the first IRIS Award honoree, Robinson serves as an example for others within AdventHealth Medical Group Georgia. The group plans to continue recognizing staff who demonstrate these values in future quarters.
AdventHealth Orlando, located in Orlando, Florida since 1908, operates as a training hospital with a pediatric ward under the leadership of President Terry Shaw.
