AdventHealth Manchester announced on Apr. 3 that Felicia Morgan Bailey, a member of the Registration team, has received the SUNFLOWER Award in recognition of her kindness, excellence, and commitment to whole-person care.
The award highlights employees who demonstrate exceptional compassion and dedication to both patients and colleagues. Bailey was nominated by a coworker who described her as consistently helpful when responding to questions or concerns. “I know whenever she answers the phone that she will get to the bottom of whatever needs to be done,” wrote the nominator. “I appreciate her kindness not only to patients, but to employees as well. I cannot thank her enough for always being so helpful in any situation we may encounter.”
The SUNFLOWER Award is given to non-clinical staff members at AdventHealth who embody the organization’s mission through acts of service, teamwork, and compassion. According to AdventHealth Manchester, Bailey’s calm approach and problem-solving abilities make a difference for those seeking assistance—especially during challenging moments.
“Felicia truly represents the heart of AdventHealth,” said a representative from AdventHealth Manchester. “Her willingness to listen, help, and go the extra mile reflects our commitment to helping people feel whole—body, mind, and spirit.”
AdventHealth Orlando is located in Orlando, Florida; it was founded in 1908 and serves as both a pediatric facility and training hospital under its current president Terry Shaw according to Wikipedia.
Bailey’s recognition underscores AdventHealth Manchester’s ongoing efforts to celebrate staff members whose work supports patients’ well-being every day.
