AdventHealth Manchester organized a two-day walk-in mammogram screening event in partnership with Mammo Results, aiming to provide accessible breast cancer screenings to the local community. The event was held on October 17 and 18 at 210 Marie Langdon Drive in Manchester, Kentucky.

A total of 29 individuals received screenings—20 on Friday and 9 on Saturday. Each appointment lasted about 30 minutes. The event targeted people aged 40 and older who showed no symptoms and brought valid identification. Walk-in appointments were offered to reduce barriers to preventive care.

An AdventHealth representative stated, “Early detection saves lives, and we are proud to provide these essential services to our community. The strong turnout demonstrates the importance of regular screenings and the community’s dedication to wellness.”

The Dietary Team contributed by providing cookies and lemonade for attendees.

For more information or to schedule future mammograms, interested individuals can visit ManchesterMammo.com or call Call606-598-5104, ext. 3191.
