AdventHealth has announced the addition of Dr. Deborah Bradley to its oncology team at AdventHealth Cancer Services Weaverville. Dr. Bradley is board-certified in Internal Medicine with a specialization in Medical Oncology and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. She brings over two decades of experience in oncology and hematology.
Dr. Bradley received her medical degree and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati, followed by a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Michigan.
Describing her approach to care, Dr. Bradley said, “I want patients and team members to feel seen and valued.” She explained that she was drawn to AdventHealth because of its focus on community care and efforts to expand access to advanced cancer therapies in Western North Carolina.
Dr. Bradley’s career began with an early interest in medicine, leading her through academic settings, rural health work, clinical care, and research involving clinical trials before returning to direct patient care in Western North Carolina.
“I have grown up as a physician. I want to be known as a physician who is approachable and takes good care of patients. I hope to work with AdventHealth to bring more cutting-edge therapy to Weaverville and the surrounding area as the hospital is built and the community grows. I’m excited to be a part of that,” she said.
Outside her professional responsibilities, Dr. Bradley enjoys hiking with her dog Jonas, mountain biking, reading, and spending time with friends.
She will see patients at AdventHealth Cancer Services Weaverville, which operates as a department of AdventHealth Hendersonville. More information about appointments can be found at AdventHealthNC.com or by calling 828-645-3100.
