AdventHealth has announced the addition of Dr. Sanjna Malpani, a board-certified family medicine and geriatric physician, to its AdventHealth Medical Group Multispecialty at Candler location. Dr. Malpani brings experience in both family and geriatric medicine and aims to offer personalized care for residents in Candler and nearby communities.
Dr. Malpani received her medical degree from Topiwala National Medical College at the University of Mumbai, India, and earned a Master of Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans. She completed her residency in family practice at Louisiana State University in Kenner and a geriatrics fellowship at West Virginia University in Harpers Ferry.
“My approach to medicine is based on a complete view of the individual, and taking time to understand their unique personal challenges,” Dr. Malpani said. “I believe the best patient outcomes occur when the provider and the patient create a trusting relationship.”
Dr. Malpani will provide family medicine services as well as specialized care for older adults. Her focus aligns with AdventHealth’s goal to deliver whole-person care to every patient.
“I believe that emphasis on wholistic lifestyle choices is very important in providing successful treatment,” Dr. Malpani said. “Often making small and incremental lifestyle choices transforms quality of life and allows a person to live their life to its fullest potential.”
